Nursery Group Expands Further-Monday 05th of June 2006 13:12:55

Rosedene Nurseries, one of the region’s leading pre-school care and learning providers, has announced plans to add three new nursery locations to its growing portfolio across the Tees Valley.

The company, which has a reputation spanning over 40 years, already has popular pre-schools in Yarm, Markse-by-the-Sea, Guisborough and Redcar. Now, due to an increase in demand, the group has opened in Hemlington and will open on Marske Mill Lane in Saltburn on June 19th. Plans are also in place for another nursery to open in Ormesby in September.

The expansion plans will see over £300,000 invested in the three new nursery schools and will create around 40 of jobs. The group now provides in the region of four hundred childcare places throughout the Tees Valley.

Rosedene Nurseries was established more than forty years ago in Markse and was taken over by husband and wife team, John and Clare McCullagh, in 1993. Since that time John and Clare have expanded across the Tees Valley and now employ a team of sixty who care for hundreds of children throughout the area.

Rosedene’s Hemlington day nursery will be situated on Cass House Road within the Sure Start children’s centre. The independent nursery will create around twenty new jobs and care for up to fifty babies and children aged from three months to five years.

All of Rosedene’s nurseries have been purpose built with an emphasis on safety, fun and development. The nurseries are fitted with security doors with supervised access to ensure a safe and secure facility for children. The curriculum is continually updated and is implemented by trained staff who work in partnership with parents to ensure every child's needs are being met.

The nurseries also have extensive outdoor play facilities which are fitted with shock absorbing, all-weather surfaces where children can safely enjoy the toys, equipment and activities selected to promote their social, physical and mental development.

John McCullach, managing director of Rosedene Nurseries, commented: “Every Rosedene Nursery is dedicated to providing a happy, secure and stimulating environment in which children can develop, flourish and progress during the vital pre-school years.

“The group has many years experience at locations throughout the Tees Valley and we are delighted that we are now at the stage where we can add yet more nurseries to our portfolio. Hemlington, Saltburn and Ormesby are all ideal locations for Rosedene as we can provide parents with a comprehensive childcare facility which can be adapted to suit their needs.”
