Major Recognition For North East Photographer-Friday 07th of July 2006 10:36:24

Keith Moss, a leading photographer with a gallery in East Cleveland, has been invited to be part of one of the most prestigious art organisations in the world.

Keith is already a recognised Demontfort Fine Artist* and photographs a range of landscapes, seascapes and abstracts which are now highly collectable and sought after around the world.

Now the Saatchi Gallery in London, which is famed for showcasing work by well-known international artists such as Damien Hirst, Franz Ackermann and Dirk Skreber, has asked Keith to be part of their newest venture.

The gallery has recently launched ‘Your Gallery’ as part of its website at www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk which is a new web resource allowing selected artists to display some of their work through the Saatchi Gallery site and hence raise their profile around the world.

Keith, who is also a popular wedding, social portrait and commercial photographer, was approached by the Saatchi who were impressed by his variety of techniques and in particular his black and white fine art photography.

The new on line gallery at www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk/yourgallery is visited daily by curators and collectors from around the world and is one of the most prominent art resources on the Internet.

Speaking about this recent development, Keith commented: “I was amazed when I got the call from the Saatchi as it’s synonymous with some of the best art in the world. Of course I jumped at the chance to be part of their new website and already a selection of my black and white images featuring places around the North are on display.

“Since moving to the North East last year I have gathered a huge amount of inspiration from the people I have met and the places I am constantly discovering. The response I am receiving has been overwhelming and this recent development together with my wedding and commercial photography makes me proud to be associated with such a vibrant area.”
