One of Reflex Vehicle Solutions’ leading clients has named its ‘Superstar Driver of the Year’

TNT, one of the UK’s leading express business-to-business parcel delivery companies, has thousands of self-employed couriers based at depots all over the UK and runs the award to recognise the driver that provides a high quality service and the best customer care.

The winner of this year’s award rents his vehicle from Reflex in Stockton-on-Tees. Tony Humberstone is based in Croydon but travels around the country making deliveries for organisations such as the National Blood Service.

Tony was selected from hundreds of drivers after being nominated by many of his customers. He also represented TNT on a national level at the courier industry ‘Oscars’- the National Courier Awards*- where he was a finalist in the ‘Four Wheel’ category.

Reflex will also be recognising Tony’s achievement by fully wrapping his vehicle in TNT livery free of charge.

Tony commented: “This award is a major accolade in the industry as TNT is one of the UK’s most reputable express delivery companies employing thousands of people. I am very proud to have been singled out for this honour and was delighted to represent the company in the national awards.”

Graeme Lumley, sales director at Reflex, added: “We have a number of owner-drivers working for large, national companies like TNT and we always strive to ensure that we’re providing them with the best vehicles to suit their specific needs. We were very pleased that one of our drivers has been recognised in this way at a national level.”

The company employs twenty six staff at bases in Stockton, Middlesbrough, Glasgow and London and has a fleet of more than 2,700 vehicles. * The National Courier Awards, now in their eleventh year, recognise excellence in the same day delivery market. Over 300 leading figures from the dispatch industry, the transport and motorcycle worlds attended the event at the end of June.
