Original artwork painted by the well-known Premiership and Championship footballer, Jody Craddock, is now available to buy for the first time. The limited edition prints can be viewed and bought on-line thanks to the launch of his new website, www.craddock-art.com .

‘Craddock Art’ is Jody’s newest venture bringing together years of work. He has developed a wide range of artistic abilities and styles including contemporary portraits, landscapes and a variety of unusual commissions. Jody has a unique technique and eye for colour and already some leading names in the world of sport have original pieces hanging on their walls.

This is the first time that the footballer’s art has been available to buy and already the website has been inundated with requests even before it’s official launch.

Jody, who currently plays for Wolverhampton Wanderers, does most of his painting from his own studio at his home in the Midlands, which he shares with his wife Shelley and his young son, Joseph.

Jody Said: “Although football plays an immense part in my life I have always been a keen, self-taught artist. I draw my inspiration from a variety of sources, including books and magazines and also photography”.

He added: “Painting is an ideal escape from the stresses and strains associated with working in football and I find it the perfect way to relax. I have so many ideas that I want to get on canvas and I am currently trying to paint as much as I can every week.”
